This is a very cool little mini from Cool Mini or Not. It is 32mm and titled "Space Girl" and as of this post there is 1 left in stock in their webstore. My colour scheme inspiration came from Asuka Langley's plug suit in the incredible Evangelion anime series.

Officer of the 2nd Ulans, Grand Duchy of Warsaw, 1812
This 54mm figure is by Pegaso (54-060) from their "Elite Series". It was originally an officer of the 17th regiment but I wanted to try painting yellow and decided on the colour scheme of the 2nd regiment. I just had to remove the 17 from the plates on the pouch and czapska. Yellow was a challenge but there are several great tutorials on YouTube which helped tremendously. I used a combination of Citadel and Velejo paints.

The Pirate Queen
This is one of my all time favorite miniatures by one of my favorite sculptors, Werner Klocke. The figure is from Freebooter Miniatures in their Freebooter's Fate line. I really tried to "pull out all the stops" on this one and I think this is one of my best paints to date. I took a lot of inspiration from the paint jobs on the Rum and Bones figures (another pirate based miniature game) by Big Child Creatives.

The Green Faith
I like this Reaper figure for it simplicity and clean lines while still conveying character. The colour scheme was inspired by a cosplay image on Pinterest. I think the limited palette lends itself to the figure. This was a good model to practice painting female faces too since the detail is crisp and the face isn't cluttered. I tried to get nice smooth transitions with less contrast to emphasize her feminine features.

Ranger Danger
I love this figure from Dark Sword. It's you classic ranger but I think the sculpt is exceptional. I definitely got an Aragorn/Strider vibe which is where I got the inspiration for the color scheme. Comparing Dark Sword to Reaper minis - the DS ones are definitely more delicate in both detail and casting than Reaper. I would say that Reaper is geared more towards gaming while DS is geared more at collecting/display. Which is to not say that Reaper's mini's aren't detailed - they are. They just seem to be designed to be more durable/handled.

Feiyasandre
Here is the Reaper Pathfinder mini of one of my favorite Wayne Renolds illustration, Feiya the Witch. The detail was a little daunting at first so I'd been putting this one off for a while now. Once I decided on a color scheme (I used the Red Lady Melisandre as the inspiration), I just tackled it one step at a time.
