This model was started a very long time ago but I didn’t get very far with it. This is the old Dragon/DML kit. I bought just after it came out, I that tells you anything.

 This is actually the finished product of a project that was left off in 2008 and was just completed recently.

Sophie and Friend +1

This is Inn Keeper Sophie from the Bones 4 Core, Sophie and Friends subset and was sculpted by Gene Van Horne. It was #160 in the set but is now available as SKU: 77750.

 

Here is one of the "and Friends" from the Bones 4 Core, Sophie and Friends subset. She is now known as Bryn, Half Elf Rogue, sculpted by Gene Van Horne and is now available as SKU: 77753. I drew inspiration from Yennifer's Witcher 3 costume. The stairs is just made of cut layers of cork.

 

 

This is Mavaro, Iconic Occultist sculpted by Bobby Jackson from the Bone 4 Core Pathfinder Iconics II subset. This is now available on the Reaper store as SKU: 89051. He reminds me of a bard who went for oration as his talent.

The Devil's in the Details

 

I was in a real painting slump. It had been several months with no motivation. A few weeks back a friend asked me to paint up a couple of player characters for our DnD campaign. It took me a while to complete them. In the end it was a change in mindset. I took the approach that they didn't need to be perfect. I was painting for gaming not for show and that enabled me to complete both in a day after dragging my feet for a week. Like wise I grabbed this set out of the Reaper Bones 4 Core set with the goal of just painting and having fun. It was a good exercise on both occasions.
